How to stop stressing Stress is the collective term for our response to all the emotional and physical pressure which occurs around us on a daily basis.Every day stress feelings may include things like feeling tense or irritable,  having trouble concentrating, headache, elevated heartbeat or blood pressure and many other physical symptoms.

However, when stress reaches a level to high for the individual, there is a chance of damage to health, a negative affect on the people closest and the way life is lived.

Here are a few examples of stressful situations:

  • Both yourself and your partner have jobs with long hours and you are bringing up children.  Along with this, your Mother and Farther are no longer working, have trouble with mobility and are rely on you to help them with the weekly shopping and other regular chores.
  • You maybe living on your own with no partner, your current wages are low and every month is harder than the last to keep up with the bills.
  • You are separated from your partner and have set times for when you can see your children. But the time is never enough.  And the tension between yourself and former partner is increasing worse.
  • Working in a competitive workplace where targets need to be met each week. To reach these targets, you are starting work earlier and staying later and later, and it is having a bad effect on your personal relationships.

  • Recognising the first signs of stress
  • Knowing how to handle stress if it occurs
